Women's Health

As a woman, you need a women’s health care provider you can trust to prevent and treat gynecological concerns. As women age, they experience many physical and emotional changes, such as menstruation, pregnancy, and menopause. Certain infections and chronic diseases, like urinary tract infections (UTIs) and osteoporosis, do occur in men but are far more common in women. Some cancers are also exclusive to or more common in women than men, such as breast, ovarian, uterine, and endometrial cancer making routine screening imperative and women's health a specialty in its own right.

During her clinical fellowship, Katie completed additional training in women's health so that she would be more adept caring for the additional needs of her female patients. Katie provides many services routinely given by your gynecologist, such as pap smears, so that women do not have to wait for women's health screenings. If necessary, Katie will then refer you to a gynecologist for more extensive testing or evaluation.
